Tara Henderson
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal here at Midway Elementary School. I am thrilled to continue to bring my skills as an educational leader here in Tangipahoa Parish School System.
I have enjoyed three years of experience as an Assistant Principal, three years as a Curriculum and Instructional Coordinator, and more than ten years of experience in hands-on teaching. I am enthusiastic and prepared to contribute my knowledge and skills to help maximize the student learning experience here at Midway Elementary.
My focus this year is to support the mission set forth here at Midway Elementary School: To empower Eaglets to SOAR and become Seekers of knowledge who are always Optimistic, striving for Achievement and Respectful at all times.
I look forward to a very successful school year. I have high expectations for our students here at Midway Elementary School and I will do all that I can to help all of our students achieve these expectations.
